No spoilers here. I promise. I would not\u00a0ruin it for you. Let me just get down\u00a0to it and tell you what I\u00a0thought of the movie.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: large;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/O59QrxEhx2g\" width=\"420\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 8pt;\"><a style=\"clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-fUjGd5BgOcg\/Vyw--nK2EBI\/AAAAAAAAbPM\/THhBbQySlEgesEkRcdl5byiuMH-1Vi34ACLcB\/s1600\/Captain-America-Civil-War-Faceoff-Poster.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-fUjGd5BgOcg\/Vyw--nK2EBI\/AAAAAAAAbPM\/THhBbQySlEgesEkRcdl5byiuMH-1Vi34ACLcB\/s320\/Captain-America-Civil-War-Faceoff-Poster.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><span style=\"font-family: 'calibri'; font-size: large;\">This movie<br \/>\nhas everything: Action, comedy, a\u00a0teeny\u00a0spot of\u00a0romance. And angst, oh there is a lot<br \/>\nof angst. But it&#8217;s all good. And I&#8217;m not just saying that because I am Team Captain. However, I&#8217;ll give you a moment to enjoy the awesomeness that is Chris Evans. He&#8217;s just so darn cute. Those eyes. That voice. Those shoulders. Those biceps! sigh&#8230;.I&#8217;ll give you little longer&#8230;seriously, I think they deserve their own movie.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 8pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'calibri'; font-size: large;\">Anyway, where was I?<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'calibri'; font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'calibri'; font-size: large;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'calibri'; font-size: large;\">Having read most of the Civil War cannon, I was<br \/>\ninterested in seeing how they would\u00a0weave those\u00a0storylines into the current Marvel<br \/>\nCinema Universe. In my opinion, I think they did an excellent job. The plot made sense,<br \/>\neven more so than in the comics, motivations were understandable. Gold stars! This was the Avengers movie we should have had last year. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'calibri'; font-size: large;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'calibri'; font-size: large;\">Yeah, while we&#8217;re on that topic.\u00a0Let&#8217;s be real. Is<br \/>\nthis truly a Captain America movie? No. Not really. Is this just another<br \/>\nAvengers movie? Kind of. I can definitely see why people would think that. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'calibri'; font-size: large;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'calibri'; font-size: large;\">What<br \/>\nthis movie\u00a0truly is\u00a0is Civil War. Numerous story lines crossing over to<br \/>\ncreate one creative entity. That was the beauty of the graphic novels, and here\u00a0those elements are delivered in spades. \u00a0When the two sides collide it is both epic and<br \/>\nhorrifying. These are characters you love, and they&#8217;re going at each other. Drawing blood!<br \/>\nGoing for the kill. I believe this is the darkest of the Marvel movies. Some of the subject matter is dark and gruesome, and I would not take a young child to see this movie. Some parts\u00a0left me disturbed. But<br \/>\nthose nods to the fans throughout the film were worth sitting through more of the difficult times.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'calibri'; font-size: large;\">Now for my only complaint. The cinematography. What the<br \/>\nhell? Someone with a lot of talent choreographed some brilliant fight scenes.<br \/>\nAnd some equally talented people executed them to perfection.\u00a0Only I could not enjoy them<br \/>\nbecause the camera was all herky-jerky and giving me motion sickness. Why is there this disturbing trend in action movies? I don&#8217;t need shaky camera angles to make\u00a0me feel as if I was there in the middle of the action. All you are doing is\u00a0disrupting my enjoyment of a good<br \/>\nfight and making me ill. There is one scene where Captain America, Bucky, and Iron<br \/>\nMan are going at it the camera\u00a0stays still. Watching the fluidity of their<br \/>\nmovements was\u00a0awesome, even though I wanted to shout at the screen for them\u00a0stop<br \/>\ntrying to kill\u00a0each other. Stop shaking the<br \/>\ncamera, and have a good fight scene stand on its own.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'calibri'; font-size: large;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'calibri'; font-size: large;\">As for the newest additions to the MCU- Black Panther and Spider-Man. Both were fantastic. I took Squid with me to the movie and she loved Peter Parker. I mean lllooovvveeeed him. When I told her he was to have his own movie, she squealed. Ah&#8230;her first superhero crush. I&#8217;m so proud.<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 8pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'calibri'; font-size: large;\">Okay, boys and girls. It&#8217;s late, so I&#8217;m going to wrap this<br \/>\nup, and leave you to go and enjoy this movie on your own. Perhaps you&#8217;ll see me at another showing this weekend. Hell, who am I kidding?
